Using upended water bowls (meant for horses) as niches, I created still life arrangements from which I painted, suggestive of altarpieces paying homage to the interdependence of the land to life, a common artistic theme as indicated by the rendering of details from famous artists’ works which reside in the upper corners of each composition.
