Actual defunct objects in my immediate rural environment are selectively wrapped (“bandaged”/”embraced”/”preserved”) in realistically painted rural landscapes on canvas. Objects include a tractor hood, wheelbarrow, feedbag, lawnmower, woodstove, scythe, barn foundation quoin, fireplace insert with mantel and a child’s crib.
